Each grade level reviews and refines previously learned skills and builds upon those skills to achieve the next level.
The third grade curriculum provides oral, as well as written practice in all skill areas. We review the second grade concepts and expand and reinforce experiences in science, social studies, math, and reading. As the children progress, book reports and research papers are required.
We encourage thinking and creative skills through language arts and writing experiences. The students learn more about cursive writing as their eye-hand coordination is refined. Bible verse memorization, Bible stories, prayer, and patriotism are an integral part of our day.
